David Mejias: An Attorney Full Of Achievements

 Dave Mejias, also revered as one of the most talented family law attorneys in Long Island, has also been a formal legislator of Nassau County. He had, in fact, made a big record by being the first Latino ever to be elected as the Legislator of Nassau County. He had served as a Legislator from 2004-2010. He has also served as a President at the Long Island Hispanic Bar Foundation. At present, he is the Chairman at the charitable branch Long Island Hispanic Bar Foundation. 

He has held so many important positions and he several awards and achievements to his name. In 2013, the Long Island Pulse had recognized as one of the Top Ten Legal Eagles where he won the award in the category of Family Law. This achievement was not easy because a selected group of attorneys are responsible for selecting the awardees. They peer reviewed and acknowledged the most talented legal advisors in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Receiving this award was extremely difficult and David feels highly obliged that his skills and expertise were recognized by the most reputed group of attorneys. 

His achievement do not end here because he was also recognized by the Long Island Business News where he was heralded as one of the 40 Rising Stars Under 40 in Long Island. He continue to receive achievements and recognitions. Owing to that he was also registered as one of the 50 Most Powerful and Influential Long Islanders in the Long Island Press Power List. 

David has always been very keen about helping and supporting the Long Island citizens in the most charitable manner. He has been fighting continuously for the rights of the victims of domestic violence for a long time. His efforts were duly recognized by the Coalition Against Domestic Violence and he continues to fight for the domestic violence victim rights. David Mejias vows to fight for the victims’ rights even after he retires.
